Just phoned Fiat to book annual service and they informed me that it is due a timing belt at this service and that the total cost would be £590 plus vat.
Ducato '02 is now back from the garage and the bill was half that quoted as they didn't need to remove the gearbox and so the clutch wasn't replaced. A new wiper motor couldn't be sourced from anywhere so the old one was rebuilt and all works fine now. Speed working again after having a new driver/transducer fitted. Points. 1. Jan 13, 2014. #1. Hi, I have recently purchased a fiat ducato 2.8 jtd 2004 motorhome with just under 55k on the clock. Shortly after buying it I noticed the oil level was higher than it should be so I drained some out to get it back to 'max'. All was well until recently the oil light has started flickering under light exceleration.It should be possible to download a filter cross reference chart. However I chose to feed the quoted Fiat part number 1753740 into Ebay search function. This returned several offers for a COMLINE EOF056 which from the accompanying diagrams is a 3/4" UNF filter, measuring approx 110 x 145. You may be interested the following current offer on Ebay.
